Number of floors = 2

Column Height = 4 m

Column sizes:

C1 = 0.4 x 0.4 m

C2=0.4 m dia. 

C3=0.6 m dia.

Beam Sizes = 0.4 x 0.6 m

Slab Thickness = 0.2 m

Material Properties:

Concrete; fc’ = 30 Mpa (Columns)

Concrete; fc’ = 25 Mpa (Other members)

Steel: fy = 420 Mpa (A615 Steel)

Assume the footings are single footings on rock

 Model: The slab to be modeled using

Quadrilateral (4-noded) plate elements with

edge length not greater than 0.5 m.
